Bring Ellen to your community for a half-day, one day or multi-day women’s heart-filled and health-filled retreat that will give participants an opportunity to experience a renewal of body, mind, and spirit. During the retreat, we will explore choices that will enhance our physical, emotional, mental and spiritual health and support our desire for positive change. Share the deepest wisdom of our heritage by looking at old and new Jewish texts that speak to our hearts and minds. Join together as we take steps toward a true understanding of who we are and how we want to show up in the world.
In late 2005, Ellen was diagnosed with Celiac Disease. Her lifelong relationship with all things gluten abruptly ended. In early 2011, her marriage of 17 years ended. The collision of these two seemingly disparate events brought her to the doors of the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in NYC. In September of 2012, Ellen graduated from IIN as a Certified Health Coach. She began a very small practice, consulting with clients who were interested in changing the course of their health. Ellen’s entire focus is on the circle of life, on the intersection of healthy eating, emotionally satisfying relationships, work that one can feel passionate about, the importance of exercise and a willingness to look at spirituality in whatever form it shows up for each person. Ellen’s own personal experience with health, love and loss as well as her own return to Judaism through her music, comes together when she leads her Women’s Retreats.
